whee~ it's a review again!

and now, let's start with May

the reviews are so long that i need to separate it into few posts

so, what happened in May?

this is the month where it is all filled by Mission trips and FIELD WORKS!

it all started with my Mission Trip to Sandakan!

the Emmanuelites spent 3 days there

and long travelling hours by bus to Sandakan =(

So, the Sandakan Mission Trip came to an end

and here comes the next Activity for the next weekend~

Entomology Field Trip to Muaya for 5 days!

FYI, Muaya is the place that i will be doing research on Mantids =D

in this Field work, we need to catch 50 insects of different species of 10 different orders~

Phew~ its a kinda tough one as spotting insects is not easy @@

until i came here~ encounter so many types of insects!
this is a female Phasmatodea or "Stick insect"

find them and preserve them!

oops~ and here we are!

it is dangerous climbing on the rocks because it is very SLIPPERY!

but with the help of the lab assistants

we reached!

right at the centre of the Waterfall!

we just stayed on the rocks for awhile~
might get reprimanded if the lecturers caught us @___@

besides catching terrestrial insects, we also need to catch aquatic insects
normally, the aquatic insects are the nymph
for example, dragonfly, damselfly...

i caught this palm sized beetle
planned to rear it, but failed.
it died after few days. sorry ='(

of course, jumping pictures to end this Muaya Field Trip! =D

phew~ field work done =D

after this 2 field work, mummy bought me a car!

finally i managed to get a car within the tight budget of rm5000

cars in Sabah are EXPENSIVE!

sobx~ but thank God, i manage to get one

Conservation Biology 2010/2011

30th and 31st of May is the Pesta Keamatan of Sabah

this is the first time i've visit to such places

they have open house to be visited

to know about the culture of Sabah!

you can go to KDCA, Penampang if you wanted to visit next time =)

time for June!!

its a month of submission of lab reports, assignments and of course, final exam!

one of our course require us to do BOARD GAMES~

yes, wasting time redo senior's board game

here it is! Thank God i got an A for this =D

In this month, it is also Sing Ping's Birthday

so, we went Fukurou for Lunch to celebrate her birthday

its a Japanese restaurant in Damai

it is quite nice!

they provide set lunch which can save abit of the cost~ =P

just nice for students like us =D

study stress~ din get to take picture with the birthday girl @@

i also had my first working experience in Sabah~

actually it is a part time job

held in UMS from Campus Lite

to find participants to join the Gatzy competition

and we only stood for half a day

which cost quite high actually!

whee! say yes to extra pocket money!

of course, food hunting with two beloved and Joe Vern

Spent this month at Home~~~ whee!
being loved by loving people around~
but this is also the month where my baby Ixie was sent for service
and twice smmore~ so 3 weeks without camera!
but thank you to mummy, i got my first smart phone!

its August
students only have their university reopen in September
but at first i had planned to go field work
but the field work was banned
so to save money, i came back a month early~
